Fun fact i learned at the museum...big boy was the unofficial name for these but because everyone from mechanics to the media called them that, Union Pacific basically just said "fuck it" and made it the official name

I used to think A4s were ugly when I was young, until I saw the Mallard at the York Railway Museum. Fucking gorgeous. I fell in love with it instantly.
